German Putty Knife
A favourite of Hans AllbƤck.
This craftsman-quality putty knife is perfectly balanced and flexes toward the middle of the blade rather than at the handle - just the right point to make it ideal for glazing windows with AllbƤck Linseed Putty.
The tapered tang of the blade extends all the way through the handle to the butt, so that downward pressure can be applied over many years of continuous use without weakening the tool. Can also be used as a small, flexible spackling knife.
Blade, handle, and brass ferruleĀ all finely polished.
Made in Germany.
Components
- Hardened steel blade
- Exotic hardwood handle
- Brass ferrule
Dimensions
- Tool length :Ā 20 cm (~ 8 in)
- Blade width :Ā 40 mm (~ 11ā2Ā in)
