Jujube T602A (2) Tigertooth Jujube Tree 8" Thin Cutting Graft ScionWood/Bud Tiger Tooth

Jujube T602A (2) Tigertooth Jujube Tree 8" Thin Cutting Graft ScionWood/Bud Tiger Tooth

Descriptions: Lot of 2 live thinner cuttings, from healthy jujube tree new branches. Rather than waiting for a seedling to become mature, these cuttings save you years of waiting. By grafting, you'll harvest your own fresh jujube fruits this or next fall, depending on when you graft them.
Condition: Fresh, straw thickness cuttings with no roots, from healthy new branches, for you to graft the buds onto your existing jujube tree (to add or to change the variety). These thinner cuttings are good for grafting only. Rooting them would be very challenging. NOT suggested for rooting.
Each cutting is around 8" long, with a minimum of 3 nodes (grafting buds). The successful rate for grafting is very high if you know how. We do not offer any grafting instructions as there are countless grafting video and pictured instructions online. Please google it and pick the method you like. "T-budding grafting" is one of our favorite methods. Be aware, to graft, you do need a wild sour jujube tree or another variety jujube tree in your yard to graft on.
Variety: Tigertooth jujube. They produce long, slender date-shaped very sweet fruits.
Details: Jujube fruit is a drupe. When turns half reddish, it tastes sweeter than an apple. Each fruit has only a few days of prime time on the tree before it turns fully ripe. The skin then turns wrinkle, dark red and the flesh becomes spongy. After drying it, it can be stored for a long time. The dried fruit has been used medicinally for millennium by many cultures. Each mature tree has the ability of producing hundreds of fruits each fall. To help producing larger & sweeter fruits, you can pinch off 1/2 or more of the flowers/young-fruits in their early stage.
Please Note: I will cut them in same day when ship them. They will be wrapped in wet paper & plastic bag to keep their freshness.
FYI, the flat end of the cutting is the top, the pointy (45° cutting) end is the bottom.
In case you are not familiar with the nodes of jujube cuttings, please refer to the last picture above to locate the bud you'll need for grafting.
We normally trim off all thorns from these cuttings. Be aware of them in case we missed any. A pair of heavy working gloves is highly suggested to work around them once they start to grow any new branches.
