Details: Instructions for use: Gelomat is added to oil or varnish paints or oil or glycerine varnishes to give the paint a matt or satin finish. Gelomat is homogenized by simply mixing with the paint or varnish before applying the paint. You can achieve different levels of mattness, ranging from very matt, satined to semi-glossy. You will obtain a uniform effect if you always mix paint or varnish with the same quantity of Gelomat, taking into account the proportions mentioned below, very matt paint film, mix Gelomat and varnish in equal proportions. Satin film, half matt: mix 1/3 Gelomat with 2/3 lacquer, satin effect, semi-gloss: Gelomat and lacquer in a ratio of one to three. For paints, the dullness of the paint skin is achieved with much smaller amounts. Use half of the quantities indicated for the paint. Precautions: since Gelomat is an inflammable product, the opened canister must be resealed after each use. It must not be stored near sources of heat. Despite its gelatinous consistency, Gelomat liquefies the paint or varnish, so these products do not need to be diluted in use. Mixing paints or varnishes with Gelomat does not mean that fewer coats have to be applied than usual to achieve a satisfactory topcoat.
